Living in the Worldly Winds

A 5 Week Online Zoom Course
Saturday 13th November – 11th December, 10.30am to 12.30pm
based on the book ‘Sailing the Worldly Winds’ Written by Vajragupta

One moment the world lifts us up, the next it drops us down. And we carry on hoping that the world will eventually give us what we want if we just try hard enough. This expectation often causes stress and worry. The Buddha taught that the road to freedom lies not in trying to bend the world and others to our will but in learning how to navigate the worldly winds which will keep blowing in spite of our efforts. Eventually we come to stand firmly in our own ground as the winds keep blowing.

The course is open to anyone regardless of age, gender, orientation, ethnicity, culture, disability or education. The Buddha’s words speak to all in the spirit of friendship and growth. You don’t need to be a Buddhist to experience the truth of this teaching.

Vimokshaja, Georgina and Nige invite you to join us to explore this practical teaching for today on finding and standing confidently in our own ground in our own way.
